Yuxiang Sun (孫宇翔)

I am currently a research associate at the RAM Lab of the Robotics Institute, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I received my PhD degree from The Chinese Univeristy of Hong Kong (CUHK) under the supervision of Prof. Qing Hu, Max Meng (IEEE Fellow) in 2017. I received my master's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2012 and my bachelor's degree from Hefei University of Technology (HFUT) in 2009. I am a recipient of the best student paper finalist award at the IEEE ROBIO 2015.

Mobile Robots, Autonomous Vehicles, Deep Learning, SLAM, Navigation, Dynamic-environment Perception, Motion Detection, Semantic Scene Understanding, Background Modelling, etc.
